The fridge quit the day before family arrived for the weekend. A tech came out that same afternoon, found a failed start relay, and had everything cold again within a couple of hours. Fair price, and we heard it up front.
The washer wouldn't drain and there was water across the floor. He cleared a sock out of the pump, swapped the part, and wiped everything down before he left. Called at nine, sorted by lunch.
The oven died mid-week with people coming over that Saturday. He replaced the igniter, dialed in the temperature, and it's baked evenly ever since. Easy to deal with and honest about what it needed.
